There’s a new page here on the Barefoot Memories Blog!
If you’re reading this announcement in email & you love photography, head over to THE BLOG ONLINE, and look at the top where it says “Pages.”
There are pages there talking about how to book a session and also pages that talk about my favorite photography-related stuff.
Today I added a page for KUBOTA IMAGE TOOLS because I am LOVING Lightroom! I used to HATE it. I hated it with a white hot burning passion stronger than a thousand suns. If you follow me on Twitter (@CareysHair) you’ve seen my frustrated anti-Lightroom rants. They were somewhat childish, I’ll admit, but dagnabit Lightroom was NOT working for me!
Then I was convinced to get Kevin Kubota’s Lightroom Workflow. It includes a video tutorial and his awesome LR presets:
Let’s just say I’ve been converted. Head over to that Kubota page on the blog to read more…

Hi Carey
I am a beginning photographer and am hopefully getting lightroom for Christmas!! I have used the trial version and love it. I was wondering if I need to purchase photoshop real soon, how do you use the two together?
Hi Cassandra, You don’t HAVE to have Photoshop and Lightroom, but if you do digital scrapbooking, Lightroom wont be enough for you. But you can do a LOT of photostuff with Lightroom, and it may be enough for you.
