Today I was sitting here at my desk, updating my ZENFOLIO gallery system with all of their new features, when a tweet came across my tweetdeck from @MattBaylow (one of the few reliable SD meteorologists). The tweet said, “HIGH SURF ADVISORY for San Diego beaches in effect thru Thurs aft’n. 6-8′ sets (some to 10′) w/high tides this week causing coastal erosion.”
“Coastal Erosion”
Know what that means?? It means the next time there’s a low tide, the awesome PIRATE CAVES in La Jolla will be even MORE awesome! These caves are only accessible during the winter, and Matt Baylow’s tweet up there reminded me of the AWESOMEFUN time I had with Danielle Smith and her family last week — in (you guessed it) the Pirate Caves!
This session was for Danielle’s mom, who was celebrating her 60th birthday (WOW! She looks not a day out of her mid-40s!). The whole family got together in San Diego for the big party, and what a day we had on the beach. Spectacular weather, fun-loving personalities, newlyweds, I could go on & on & on. It was an extraordinary day.
… speaking of “extraordinary,” if you’re a mommy like me & Danielle, check out her site — ExtraordinaryMommy.com & follow @DanielleSmithTV on twitter.
Great stuff there!!
