The Barefoot Memories Minis in New York City and San Diego are sold out!

Every year, I try to fit in as many as I can, and it never seems to be enough for everyone.
The truth is that I scheduled any more, my family would suffer, so I have to be very
careful about how much work I schedule for myself.
When my kids are older, maybe I'll be able to schedule more.
Now, when they still think I'm cool to be around, I don't want to be working too much.

Every now and then, I do get cancellations, so there is a chance that more
Mini Platinum Days could appear in my schedule. I just can't guarantee that.

Have a great weekend, and if you're a parent of kids who still think you're cool,
ENJOY IT!!! I know I will!

Tomorrow is SOCCER day, then Sunday I have one session with
one of my favorite families in the whole wide world!

Sam brought his family to La Jolla a few days ago,
and it's obvious that he's got all of them wrapped around his rapidly growing paws!


At the end of the session, we ditched the younger creatures and headed down the beach
to the very bench where Mark proposed to his girl 5 years ago.


I played around with a few different retro-type actions:
X-process combo from Kubota and Lux from Totally Rad the Revenge.
I thought they both added to the romance, but I couldn't decide which I liked better,
so Mark & Amber get to choose, since they'll both be on their CD (in addition to the originals).

Anyone watch the Simpsons?
You know that sound Homer makes when someone mentions Duff Beer or Jelly Donuts?
It's a guttural, drooling, semi-human moan of ecstasy and longing.

Yup. That's me.

It's been announced.

The 5D Mark II.

Last week I had a session with a mom, dad, and their FIVE boys!
During the session, I stopped and said to mom,
"Please tell me you're not going to try for a girl!"

Mom said,
"Can't you tell we already did?"

Good point.



Not only are they full of dudes, they're all into martial arts!

I took the shot you see above from the top of a flat rock surface,
looking down onto the family, who were all standing on top of another rock.
When I was done shooting from up there, I looked down (eek!) and said,
"OK, which dude wants to leap from this cliff?"
Of course, there were multiple volunteers!

The family hopped down off their smaller rock, I got off the cliff,
and the dudes took turns leaping from the heavens.

Luke's flying side kick was the far-and-away favorite:

Think this will be on a Christmas card this year??!! I sure hope so!

When we were done, back at the car, the boys got to take off their fancy shirts,
and we all got some free tickets to the GUN SHOW:
