More details will be announced soon, but I'm so excited that I can't hold it in any longer!

Mat (my 9-yr-old son, DIE HARD Padres Fan) and I are going to New York City in June!
The Yankees are Mat's second favorite team, and he really wanted to go to NYC
with me & Jason last year. He wants to see Yankee Stadium, The Statue of Liberty,
Battery Park (I don't know why, but that's on his list), Times Square, the 3-story
Build-a-Bear workshop, Central Park, the Subway,
and the museum from Ben Stiller's movie (dum dum give me gum gum!).

When the Padres 2008 schedule was announced, and I saw that the Padres
are playing the Yankees IN YANKEE STADIUM during the first week of summer vacation,
the wheels in my head starts turning!

I have our plane tickets, our hotel reservations, and THIS MORNING I got our
YANKEES TICKETS!!!



If you go on Padres.com, it says that single game tickets
go on sale Saturday March 1st. But if you to to Yankees.com, single game tickets went on sale
TODAY (Feb 29th) at 7am our time!
Mat and I were on the computers at 6:50 am this morning, ready to login & get our tickets!
And we got them!

I'll announce more details about our trip soon, and Mat will be assisting me at some
Barefoot in NYC photo sessions (stay tuned for details!),
but I just wanted to share our excitement!

NYC, here we come!!!
