This family is about to move to Guam for 2 years, so they wanted some gorgeous San Diego images
to take with them on their big move to the middle of the Pacific.
They were SUCH FUN to work with -- at ease in front of the camera, open to lots of suggestions,
playful, joyous, and they loved to SPLASH!
Here's one of the first shots I took when they were standing on top of a huge pile of sand:

That would be great for a Christmas card or a "we're moving" card.
They could add text into the blue sky space up there, and it would be gorgeous.
The card software from Mpix would make creating those cards a breeze, too!
While mom was playing with the girls, looking for sand dollars,
I wanted to show off the gorgeous reflections we were blessed with that day:
Then it was dad's turn to play, and the energy level was dialed up a few notches:

I decided to zoom in a bit on those cool splashes for a fun creative shot.
I love how you can feel the fun & emotion of the day & not even see a face:

Here's baby bro right before his big takedown.
Boy vs Wave.
The wave won.
After that, little bro worked on his tan & cuddled with dad:

I love this shot walking into the sun (I warmed up the white balance temp in Lightroom to add to the warm effect)

Dad orchestrated this shot of the girls -- great job dad! I told him I was going to hire him as my stylist!
And these were the final shots from the day...
I told the girls if they stood nicely for a good family picture, then I'd let them splash me.
They liked that idea!
They waited nicely for a wave to come in (splash material), and then they got me!
(not really -- I was zooming in -- but the Oscar goes to ME for my "OH MAN! YOU GOT ME!" performance)
Enjoy!
