Great images require great gear. Canon cameras are, in my opinion, the best out there, and the lenses are top notch. I use Canon 5Ds with the full-frame sensor, and the 70-200 f/2.8 lens is my favorite. Those are pricy, but there are less expensive options, like the 40D with a more affordable lens. If the 5D is too pricy, but you want a little more than the Rebel, the Canon 40D is a GREAT choice.
